But the majority of these sticks do little to improve comfort or ability for the user. We talked to artists around the world about these problems, then took on the challenge of designing an artist’s hand bridge, or mahl stick that could turn back the tide on the discomfort of painting and drawing. We designed and tested dozens of prototypes, then finally created an easy to use ‘artist friendly’ mahl stick that greatly alleviates and often completely removes many of the unpleasant symptoms experienced by artists.
